Scheduler
The ASPCA provides much needed, high quality spay/neuter services to dogs and cats being cared for by rescue groups, foster networks and the TNR community. We look forward to opening our services to new groups in the future, however, the ASPCA is not accepting new rescue clients at this time. For additional spay/neuter resources, please refer to the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC's Animals page.
The services on this page are intended for animals in the care of rescue professionals. If you are a resident of New York City and need spay/neuter services for your pet, click here to access information about our services for pets.

The ASPCA's clinics work in tandem with our transport service, which provides fully subsidized rides for spay/neuter candidates including feral cats and qualified animals from local rescue groups and humane organizations. Our climate-controlled vehicles were specifically designed to provide safe and comfortable transport for dogs, cats and community cats in traps.

Rental and return appointments are available on the following days and times:
Once an appointment is set, the equipment can be picked up and returned at our offices in East New York, Brooklyn. The address will be provided in a confirmation e-mail and is on the RSS.
A $50 refundable deposit, payable in cash or check only, is required per trap or carrier. The deposit is fully refunded upon return of the equipment in its original condition, subject to normal wear and tear during your use.
Trap rental includes 2 dividers, regardless of the number of traps borrowed. The equipment may be kept for 14 days. We kindly request that all equipment is returned clean and in a timely manner.
Please refer to the NYC Feral Cat Initiative site for additional equipment resources in NYC.
Rescuers like you help save lives 365 days a year, and our new Rescuer Services Scheduler (RSS) is designed to help you use our spay/neuter, transportation and equipment rental services much more easily and conveniently.
RSS features allow you to:
- Book, view, edit and cancel spay/neuter and transport appointments and equipment rental reservations online any time.
- View appointment availability online in real time in case last-minute appointments are needed.
How It Works
Every rescuer, whether associated with a rescue organization or working independently, has an account where reservations can be scheduled and edited, where terms of use agreements can be e-signed, and more.
Every rescue organization also has an account, held by the authorized representative, for managing the list of rescuers and co-signing terms of use agreements.
